REVIEW:Garnier Fructis style surf hair texture paste

So a few months ago, i bought the Garnier Fructis style surf hair texture paste for $3 at Walmart. Bottom line-it was TERRIBLE. I have thick and pretty straight hair.
It is supposed to make your hair beachy, like you just came out of the ocean.(Like Kate Hudson
in the photo to the right.)
I found that all it did was Put my hair in a tangled mess, and it also made my hair heavy, feeling like paste. The effects it has on my hair makes it impossible to comb, and the paste doesn't come out even after i shower well, mind you.
It smells so good, unlike most of the garnier products. Not that the other Garnier products smell bad. It just smells different.
Overall... dont buy it. Unless you like having pastey hair, and you just adore tangles.

If you have used this product, how did it work for you?

Wavy hair - NO HEAT

Hey guys, so i was painting yesterday and i put my hair in Scunci's magic bun maker tool thingy.(right)
Priced:$3-5$ I purchased mine at Claire's. IT makes a tight bun,but somehow, it turned into these pretty beachy waves!
Here's how.

1.Take a shower or spray your hair with water to get it damp.( This makes the best results, but if you don'tt have time to sleep with it in or blow dry it, keep it dry. it just makes the waves less defined.)

2.Put in setting lotion.( Feel free to skip this step. I always do.

3.Here's how to put it in!(there are instructions on the package, but if you just wanna how to do it, i'm going to explain.)

Gather your hair into a low-ish ponytail.(Not too low!)
Pull your hair through the middle of the tool.
Now, pull it down half-way.
Just to tell you readers,I have a little over shoulder length hair, but it is layered. My lowest layer is pretty short.
Then, you twist it DOWN, not up.DOWN.
Twist it TIGHT.
Then, once you are done twisting until it is tight to your head,Form the two hooks together.

4. If you chose to make your hair wet/take a shower, You can either choose to keep it in for a while until it is dry, sleep with it in (which i don't really recommend) or blow dry it until it is dry.
If you didn't, then just keep it in for a bit(LIKE 3-infinity hours. :P). Choosing not to make it wet results to a more messy, tousled look.

5. Take it out but unhooking the hooks and pulling the tool out. and BAM!
you have your waves! Just spray it with hairspray and you're done!

Hoped you liked it!
